Despite the University of Durham having an ethical investment policy, it is currently invested in companies complicit in Israeli apartheid to the tune of an estimated £1,523,647. These companies include HSBC, Booking.com and AXA. It also has institutional inks with Hebrew University, which has parts of its campus and dormitories built on occupied Palestinian land in East Jerusalem, in violation of international law and the Fourth Geneva Convention.
We demand that the University of Durham divest from companies complicit in Israeli apartheid and cut links with complicit institutions until Israel complies with international law. The University of Durham must respect the boycott until Israel:
Please sign this petition demanding that the University of Durham adheres to its ethnical investment policy and boycotts Israeli apartheid.
